1. Jadaveon Clowney - DE - S. Carolina

High risk - high reward prospect Clowney is too hard to pass up without a sure-fire #1 QB in this year's draft.
Picture

2. Jake Matthews - T - Texas A&M

I think the Rams go safe and take Matthews over Greg Robinson here. I see Robinson having some Jason Smith tendencies and ask the Rams how that Tackle draft pick turned out.

4. Sammy Watkins - WR - Clemson

I don't see how the Browns can draft anything other than a QB or WR with this pick. My guy is Johnny Manziel but here he goes one pick sooner to Jacksonville. Watkins is a different player than Josh Gordon and with Gordon, Watkins, Jordan Cameron and new slow WR Andrew Hawkins the Browns can make some hay in the passing game.

3. Johnny Manziel - QB - Texas A&M

I'm a Johnny Football guy myself and I think the Jags take him here and bring some excitement back to Jacksonville. HC Gus Bradley (former DC in Seattle) will think Manziel can be his version of Russell Wilson and I agree.

5. Greg RoBinson - T - Auburn

The Raiders O-Line is terrible and Robinson can come in and play LT or RT right away and fills a huge need. As mentioned above, I see him as a long-term bust but time will tell.
Picture

6. Taylor LEwan - T - Michigan

This pick may be a bit of a surprise to some, but with Matthews and Robinson off the board I think the Falcons shore up their O-Line with Taylor Lewan.  He's a fairly safe pick and fills a giant need to keep Matt Ryan upright.

7. Justin Gilbert - CB - OkLA. State

With Darrell Revis gone the Bucs need a big corner to play in Lovie Smith's Tampa-2 defense. Gilbert is big and physical like a Seahawks corner which is the trend in the NFL so he goes earlier than some predict.
Picture

8. KAHLIL MACK - LB - BUFFALO

While some consider Mack one of the top players in the draft, he slips a little because the value on LB's isn't near as high as other positions like Tackle, QB and WR.
Picture

9. Eric Ebron - TE - North Carolina

With the Bills recently acquiring WR Mike Williams from Tampa, they have three solid WR's in Williams, Stevie Johnson and Robert Woods. Adding a dynamic TE like Ebron will make 2nd-year QB E.J. Manuel look drastically better.

10. Darqueze Denard - CB - Mich. St.

The Lions could go a number of directions here, but the signing of Golden Tate at WR filled a big need so the Lions decide to finally try to plug the gap at CB with the selection of Denard.

11. Mike Evans - WR - Texas A&M

I wouldn't be surprised to see Evans go in the top 10, but in this scenario he falls to #11 and is a perfect fit for the Titans who lost volatile Kenny Britt this off-season. Somewhere Jake Locker is smiling.

12. Ha Ha Clinton-Dix - S - Alabama

The G-Men almost ALWAYS take a defensive lineman in a position like this, but I see them filling a need in their secondary with the best player on the board with Ha Ha Clinton-Dix.
Picture

13. CALVIN PRYOR - S - LOUISVILLE

The Rams aren't saying Ha Ha here as they may have wanted Clinton-Dix who goes one pick earlier. Instead they opt for Safety Calvin Pryor who some may think is better than Clinton-Dix.
Picture

14. Anthony Barr - LB - UCLA

I think Barr's relative lack of experience playing LB pushes him down a few picks, but his raw talent and athleticism still makes him a top 15 pick. In Chicago he'll help out an aging defense that struggled in 2013.
Picture

15. Kyle Fuller - CB - Virginia Tech

The Steelers could go a number of different directions here as for the first time in a long time they have numerous areas of need. I think they choose to get younger on defense and take Kyle Fuller at CB which is higher than most expect.
Picture

16. Timmy Jernigan - DT - Florida State

A lot of people thing the Cowboys are going to go with Aaron Donald here, but I think they are committed to getting bigger across the board and they go real big with DT Jernigan from FSU.
Picture

17. Jimmie Ward - S - Northern Illinois

The Ravens have a few needs and Safety is a big one. With the top two, in most people's minds, off the board the Ravens decide to take Ward here.
Picture

18. Marqise Lee - WR - USC

Some thought Lee was going to be a top 10 pick before the college football season, but he ends up at #18 to the WR-needy Jets.
Picture

19. Xavier Su'a-Filo - G - Washington

With the top tier tackles of the board, the Dolphins opt for the top Guard in the draft instead of reaching for the 4th best tackle.
Picture

20.  Blake Bortles - QB - UCF

The Bortles slide stops at #20 where the Cardinals take him to be an understudy for Carson Palmer for a year or two.
Picture

21. Jace Amaro - TE - Texas Tech

The Packers love tight ends and with the loss of Jermichael Finley this off-season they need to replace him and they do so with Jace Amaro.
Picture

22. Brandon Cooks - WR - Oregon St.

The perfect replacement for DeSean Jackson falls into the Eagles' lap with slot WR Brandon Cooks. He has great hands and quickness and will fit well into Chip Kelly's offense.
Picture

23. Odell Beckham Jr. - WR - LSU

The Chiefs haven't had a solid WR group in years and they try to bolster their offense with the addition of Beckham.
Picture

24. Aaron Donald - DT - Pittsburgh

Most draft experts think Donald goes higher than this, but he's undersized for a DT or DE in the NFL and I think that hurts his stock at the end of the day. The Bengals take him here to fill in for the departure of Michael Johnson.
Picture

25. ZacK Martin - T - Notre Dame

A solid tackle/guard prospect in Martin is a good fit for San Diego who could use his versatility to help protect Phillip Rivers.
Picture

26. Teddy Bridgewater - QB - Louisville

From potential #1 overall pick to the bottom of the first round. I'm not a huge fan of Bridgewater, but I like him better than Bortles.
Picture

27. C.J. Mosley - LB - Alabama

I'm not a big Mosley fan personally, I feel like he'll be a decent pro, but never outstanding. That being said, the Saints have a need and take Mosley to play inside in their 3-4 defense.
Picture

28. Morgan Moses - T - Virginia

With the loss of numerous offensive linemen this off-season, the Panthers need to replace them to give Cam Newton time in the pocket. The 5th tackle goes in the first round to the Panthers.
Picture

29. Kelvin Benjamin - WR - Florida State

Tom Brady may trust Bill Belicheck, but I think he's fed up with the second-rate WR's the Patriots rolled out there in 2013. Benjamin comes in as a big target for Brady
Picture

30. Louis Nix III - DT - Notre Dame

The Niners are getting older up front and need to start replacing them with young talent. They take the massive Nix here who can play NT or DE in their 3-4 scheme.
Picture

31. Bradley Roby - CB - Ohio State

As a Buckeye fan, I think Roby is overrated in terms on NFL scouting as he got beaten time and time again for the Buckeyes. The Broncos need depth in their defensive backfield and Roby can help in this area.
Picture

32. Cyrus Kouandijo - T - Alabama

When you win the Super Bowl you probably don't have many needs and that's the case for the Seahawks. They do need some depth on the O-Line and Kouoandijo will fit in as a mauling RT for the Champs.
