Cam Newton - QB - Auburn

Still going with Newton here - I just don't think they'll pull the trigger on a defender at #1 overall...if people think Newton is good enough to go in the top 10 why not #1 overall? I think the one surprise player who might sneak in here is A.J. Green.
Picture

Marcell Dareus - DT/DE - Alabama

Personally I still like Fairley better than Dareus, but I'm not turning in the draft cards. Dareus next to Elvis Dumerville will be a nice combo for the Ponies.
Picture

Von Miller - LB - Texas A&M

Miller may be the best defender in the draft when it's all said and done. I never understand why LB's don't get drafted this high, but he's a sack machine and will make an impact for the Bills. They'll look QB in Round 2 or possibly trade back into the end of Round 1.
Picture

Blaine Gabbert  - QB - Missouri

I'm beginning to believe Carson Palmer isn't bluffing and he'll end up elsewhere. They'll go with, in my opinion, Brady Quinn Jr. and take Blaine Gabbert here.
Picture

Patrick Peterson - CB - LSU

The guys in Arizona's war room just punched a hole in the wall as they really wanted Gabbert. Look for them to improve their defense with this pick and Peterson will immediately do so.
Picture

A.J. Green - WR - Georgia

If it weren't for some medical issues with Da'Quan Bowers I think he'd be the pick here. Instead, the Browns take the #1 receiver they've needed for the past 2+ season.
Picture

Nick Fairley - DT - Auburn

Jim Harbaugh is an offensive coach, but he can't pass up one of the best defenders in the draft when Fairley falls into their laps here.
Picture

Da'Quan Bowers - DE - Clemson

The Titans need a QB but I see them and Buffalo battling at the end of Round 1 or top of Round 2 to fill that hole. Here, the Titans hope to bring in their next Javon Kearse.
Picture

Robert Quinn - DE - North Carolina

The Cowboys played well on offense last season after Jason Garrett took over so they'll look at defense in round one. Quinn may drop in the draft due some questionable decision-making in college but the Cowboys won't pass on his upside and athleticism as a potential 3-4 OLB.
Picture

Julio Jones - WR - Oklahoma

Quick...name two receivers on the Redskins roster. If you said Art Monk and Gary Clark those were the first two names I thought of too and they haven't played since the 80s. The Skins at terrible at WR and have whiffed on their last WR picks in the draft. They try again with big and strong Julio Jones.
Picture

Prince Amukamara - CB - Nebraska

Amukamra, in my opinion, will be a serviceable but not great CB in the NFL, but most teams view him as the #2 CB in the draft. The Texans can't go anything but DB here as they were TURRIBLE in 2010.
Picture

J.J. Watt - DE - Wisconsin

Watt is a big, strong, 110% effort guy from Wisconsin who'll take a short trip to Minnesota and improve their aging defensive line.
Picture

Anthony Castonzo - OT -  BC

Castonzo is a solid all-around tackle who'll start on Opening Day for the Lions and hopefully bring some stability to the O-Line which hasn't been able to keep Stafford upright.
Picture

Aldon Smith - DE/OLB - Missouri

I wouldn't be surprised to see someone trade up to this spot ahead of Miami to take Mark Ingram. Here, the Rams go with best player on their board and take Aldon Smith who will fit nicely next to James Laurinaitis.
Picture

Phil Taylor - DT - Baylor

This may be a bit of a stretch here, but a team can't run a successful 3-4 defense without a solid nose tackle. Taylor is hands down the best NT in the draft and is the surprise pick here. EVERYONE with a mock is picking Ingram here, I think this is a spot for a surprise.
Picture

Rahim Moore - S - UCLA

The Jags secondary is nearly as bad as the Texans so getting the best Safety in the draft will only help the Jags pass defense. This may be high for Moore but they didn't hesitate to "stretch" on a Tyson Alualu at #10 overall last season and he turned out just fine.
Picture

Mark Ingram - RB - Alabama

The rich get richer as the Pats get the best RB in the draft. I see Ingram as a new, improved version of Emmitt Smith. He may not be lightning fast but he runs hard, has great vision and loves the game.
Picture

Tyron Smith - OT - USC

As much as I'm not a huge Combine fan, certain things do come out of it such as the actual size of players. Smith measured in with a huge wingspan and giant hands which are both necessary to succeed as a LT in the NFL. He can play RT immediately and help the running game for the Chargers.
Picture

Kyle Rudolph - TE - Notre Dame

I think Rudolph is going to rise up draft boards as the draft nears. He has good hands and can hold his own blocking with his huge frame. Kevin Boss has never filled the hole left by Jeremy Shockey and this will give interception machine Eli Manning a reliable dump down option like his brother Peyton has with Dallas Clark.
Picture

Cameron Jordan - DE - Cal

The Bucs made huge strides in 2010 even if it was beating up on sub-.500 teams. They tried addressing the D-line in the 2010 draft and will go back to the well again in 2011 looking for a pass rusher to play next to Gerald McCoy.
Picture

Gabe Carimi - OT - Wisconsin

Carimi looks like a steady RT candidate for the NFL and he'll only make the very good Chiefs running game even better for 2011.
Picture

Nate Solder - OT - Colorado

I still have Solder as my top tackle for long-term potential in the draft. A ginormous human being with good feet is a good combination for a LT. He's a good pass-blocker who'll fit nicely with the Colts.
Picture

Brandon Harris - CB - Miami

Harris looked fluid at the combine and in the highlights I've seen of him and, in my opinion, is the #2 CB behind Peterson. The Eagles need help at CB so Harris is the pick. Many have him as a second-rounder but I like him and all it takes is one team to like him too.
Picture

Adrian Clayborn - DE - Iowa

Clayborn got double teamed a lot at Iowa so his numbers weren't impressive this year but he'll be solid in the NFL with the right defense.
Picture

Aaron Williams - CB - Texas

The Ravens are good and deep almost everywhere except the secondary. Look for them to upgrade at that position early and often in the draft.
Picture

Jake Locker - QB - Washington

I have a hard time in believing in Locker as he lost a TON of games in college. Were the Huskies that bad or is it the fact that Locker doesn't know how to win. Either way someone is going to take him and the Seahawks have the luxury of letting him sit behind Hasselbeck for a year or two before he has to play.
Picture

Cameron Heyward - DE - Ohio State

Some project Heyward as a 3-4 DE but I think he's quick enough to play LE in a 4-3 front and will learn a thing or two from John Abraham in Atlanta.
Picture

Muhammed Wilkerson - DT - Temple

I don't watch too many Temple Owls football games, but I did see Wilkerson at the combine and he looked very agile and quick for a LARGE man. He's a versatile DL which fits perfectly in the Patriots defensive scheme.
Picture

Corey Liuget - DT - Illinois

Da Bears released DT Tommie Harris this off-season and need to fill that hold. Liuget is the best DL on the board here and is the pick for the Bears.
Picture

Mike Pouncey - C/G - Florida

The Jets could use some help on the interior of their DL and Pouncey can play either guard position or possibly even step in at RT if needed.
Picture

Jimmy Smith - CB - Colorado

Smith has some character concerns but is a really good CB. The Steelers are a rock-solid organization so they'll straighten out whatever issues he may have and he'll be an instant upgrade at CB which was the Steelers biggest weakness in 2010.
Picture

Ryan Kerrigan - DE - Purdue

Kerrigan can play DE if needed or possibly stand up and drop to play the pass for the Packers complex 3-4 defense.
