Luke Joeckel - LT - Texas A&M

Of all the years to have the #1 overall pick, the Chiefs are stuck with it in 2013 where there is no clear-cut #1 choice. They go safe with Joekel to protect new QB Alex Smith.
Picture

Eric Fisher - LT - Central Michigan

This pick is going to set the tone for the rest of the top 10. Most folks assume KC is going LT (either Joeckel or Fisher) so if JAX takes the other guy here it's going to start the run on O-Linemen earlier than anticipated.
Picture

Shariff Floyd - DT - Florida

Wanted to put Star Lotuleilei here, but the Raiders take Floyd who is a little more athletic and versatile. They'll get calls here about a trade (possibly from Detroit looking to move up for a LT), but they hang tight and take Floyd.
Picture

Dion Jordan - DE/LB - Oregon

Head Coach Chip Kelly would be smiling all the way to the podium if Jordan makes it to the Eagles here at #4. They need pass rushers and Kelly is familiar with Jordan from his time at Oregon.
Picture

Dee Milliner - CB - Alabama

I wouldn't be surprised if the Lions go with Lane Johnson at LT here (it's a huge need) but would you rather take the top CB in the draft or take the 3rd best LT? Lions choose best CB here and make Browns fans curse the TV - what's new!?
Picture

***TRADE w/ Cleveland***
Lane Johnson - LT - Oklahoma

Everyone assumes someone like San Diego or Miami make the move up to get Lane Johnson here, but the Cardinals make the move up one spot and get their man in LT Lane Johnson. Browns pick up an extra 3rd or 4th round pick here.
Picture

Chance Warmack - G - Alabama

How do new GM Mike Lombardi and CEO Joe Banner start their draft in Cleveland? By taking a Guard and getting booed by tens of thousands of Browns fans. Personally, I'd like this move as a Browns fan as we need a LG to open holes for Trent Richardson and open up the running game. Also, many people rank Warmack as the best prospect in the draft, it just happens to be a non-sexy position,

Tavon Austin - WR - West Virginia

My curveball in Mock #1 had Austin going to AZ at #7 but now he lands with the Bills. Other than Stevie Johnson the Bills don't have much in the way of WR's so they add a lightning fast, dynamic playmaker in Austin to help their new QB and head coach.
Picture

Geno Smith - QB - West Virginia

This pick is either going to be welcomed with hundreds of Jets fans cheering inside Radio City Music Hall or it'll be another epic fail for the Jets in the first round which will get booed loudly. Sorry Sanchez...one more year and you're out.
Picture

Star Lotulelei - DT - Utah

If the first round starts to play out like this look for someone to try to trade up and take Lotulelei or Ziggy Ansah. The Titans end up staying put and take Lotulelei to add bulk to their D-Line.
Picture

DJ Fluker - T - Alabama

The Chargers have a gaping hole at both Tackle spots and Fluker will fill one of them. This may be a little high for him, but it's a need they can't overlook.
Picture

Ziggy Ansah - DE/LB - BYU

Many had Ansah going way earlier than this, but I think his lack of football knowledge and inexperience drops him out of the top ten and he lands in Miami.
Picture

***TRADE w/ Buccaneers***
Cordarrelle Patterson - WR - Tenn

The Jets finally pulled the trigger on the Darrelle Revis trade and pick up this pick. They turn around and take a WR to help Mark Sanchez on offense. When Santonio Holmes was hurt last season the offense went dormant because of no backup plan.
Picture

Kenny Vaccaro - S - Texas

For some reason I just have a hunch Vaccaro goes in the top 10, but in this mock I drop him to 15 and the Panthers. Everyone expects them to go DT here, but they get the best Safety in the draft instead.
Picture

Barkevious Mingo - DE/LB - LSU

With the Saints transitioning to a 3-4 they'll need pass-rushing OLB's. They hit a double whammy here not only filling that need but also drafting an LSU player from just up the road from New Orleans.
Picture

Jarvis Jones - LB - Georgia

Jones goes to a surprise team in St. Louis but they have a need at LB and his production in college was huge which will outweigh his measurables. Sorry Steelers fans...you got next...
Picture

Sheldon Richardson - DT - Missouri

Many are anticipating the Steelers will take an OLB, but they stick to their board and take the top player remaining in Sheldon Richardson who can play the 5-Technique on the D-Line for the Steelers and replace Ke
Picture

Jonathan Cooper - G - North Carolina

The Cowboys haven't been able to keep Romo upright or improve their average running game. Cooper can come in and help with both immediately.
Picture

Xavier Rhodes - CB - Florida State

Rhodes slides here but lands in NY just like Prince Amukamara a few years ago. He fills a need and is the top player left on the board for the Giants.
Picture

Alec Ogletree - MLB - Georgia

Despite a couple off-field incidents for Ogletree in the past, he's a tough LB and the Bears desperately need to get younger at that position for the future. He's no Urlacher, but he'll have to fill that role for now.
Picture

Sylvester Williams - DT - N. Carolina

New DC Monte Kiffin needs penetrating DT's for his Tampa 2 defense and Williams is athletic and quick so he's the choice here for Big D.
Picture

Justin Hunter - WR - Tennessee

The Rams go with a bit of a stretch here in Hunter, but they desperately need WR help so they turn to Hunter hoping he can be the answer.
Picture

Bjoern Werner - DE - Florida State

Possibly my favorite player in the draft...Bjoern Werner. He's a bit of a 3-4/4-3 tweener but the Vikings need someone opposite Jared Allen and also his successor for down the road.
Picture

Keenan Allen - WR - California

Reggie Wayne can't play forever and with a QB like Andrew Luck you need to surround him with young talent which is what the Colts do here. The other guy I think they look at is RB Eddie Lacy from Alabama.
Picture

D.J. Hayden - CB - Houston

This guy has been rising up draft boards and ends up in Minnesota where he fills an enormous gap in their secondary.
Picture

Mantei Teo - LB - Notre Dame

Teo is big enough to play ILB in a 3-4 defense and he'll be a good fit up in GB where he'll be out of the eye of the national media on a day-to-day basis.
Picture

Tyler Eifert - TE - Notre Dame

The Texans need help for Andre Johnson and instead of taking a receiver, they take the best TE in the draft which will open up the outside more for Johnson.
Picture

Jonathan Cyprien - S - Florida Int'l

A wise man once said, "Don't get beat deep!" Broncos defensive backs didn't get that message in the playoffs and ended up losing to the Ravens. They try to fix that problem taking Cyprien here.
Picture

Robert Woods - WR - USC

The Patriots lost or cut most of the WR corps after the season and haven't replaced all of them yet with the exception of Danny Amendola. Come draft day it'll continue with the addition of Woods.
Picture

Desmond Trufant - CB - Washington

Trufant won the off-season in terms of CBs, but he doesn't like hitting people or making tackles so he falls to Atlanta here.
Picture

Jamar Taylor - CB - Boise State

The Niners play in the NFC with some potent pass offenses like the Packers, Giants and now the NFL West. They add to their backfield with Taylor who can help with depth and possibly as a nickel or dime CB.
Picture

Arthur Brown - LB - Kansas State

While he's not going to be expected to fill the hole left by Ray Lewis, Brown will be a projected starter as an ILB for the defending Super Bowl champs.
